Terry “Bam Bam” Jemison was born and raised on the east side of Buffalo, New York. After accepting Christ at an early age, he became actively involved in the church. At just 10 years old, Terry started his music career as a drummer at the First Centennial Baptist Church. He went on to attend the highly acclaimed Buffalo Academy for Visual and Performing Arts, and graduated in 1994. In 1997, Terry moved to Atlanta, Georgia, where he played and recorded with Atlanta based Bishop Dreyfus Smith and the Wings Of Faith Mass Choir.
He has lent his talent on the drums to various bands, one of which being “Fahrenheit”. “Fahrenheit” has had the privilege of opening up for a number of old school acts such as the O’Jays, Ali Woodson, Rodger and Zapp, and Midnight Starr, and many others. Terry’s gift and ambition have taken him around the globe, where he has played in Japan, Singapore, Russia, Malaysia, and Morocco.
Terry is the creator, founder, and bandleader of 2 very successful bands over the past 10 years named Groove Factor and Bam Jamm. He also has a single available on digital media on iTunes and Amazon entitled “THROWBACK”.
Bam’s energetic, party style when performing leaves everyone in attendance wanting to experience more. He is professional and great at what he does on drums and vocals. His goal in every show is to make people happy and leave their cares behind for that moment of fun and musical enjoyment!
